How the money moves.
Payments are this industry's open wound: banks close accounts, platforms take their cut, funds get frozen. This page explains honestly how money enters your house, what it truly costs, and who helps you set it up.
This is the distinction most blur: the platform's cut disappears entirely. What remains is the raw cost of moving money, and with the right rails even that can be pushed toward zero.
One till. Many doors. One ledger.
The house runs a closed coin economy: members load balance in your currency and spend it with you. How the money gets in is swappable. What happens inside never changes.
Money enters
Through a rail you choose: card payments via an adult-friendly processor, Bitcoin through your own server, or a direct transfer you confirm yourself. Every door leads into the same till.
It becomes your coin
Every top-up becomes balance in your currency, held in a ledger that only grows and never forgets. Non-refundable, non-transferable, never cashable to anyone else. A closed loop.
It is spent on you
Calls, messages, tasks, content, seats in the Circle. Every spend is a line in the ledger. What came in stays with you, no matter what happens to any rail later.
The quiet advantage: if a rail ever fails, you change the door. The house keeps standing.
Three doors for the money.
Stripe, PayPal, Venmo and Cash App explicitly prohibit this trade; an account there is a ticking clock. These three doors are built to hold.
- Credit/debit cards & recurring subscriptions
- Built for this trade; will not drop you
- Chargeback tooling included
- Negotiable downward with volume
- Payments straight into your own wallet
- Uncancellable: open source, on your server
- Discreet; beloved by the biggest givers
- No chargebacks, payment is final
- Bank wire, SEPA, any route that reaches you
- No processor needed, from day one
- Every top-up carries a unique code
- Remains the permanent fallback
Chargebacks are real in this trade: card money can be pulled back months after it arrives. The closed loop softens the blow, because coin already spent on you is hard to argue back. But no one can abolish them, and we will not pretend to.
Where Verotel or Segpay fit better, we build those instead. The rail is swappable by design; the house is never touched.
From a window to the vault.
Card money lands in your bank; that path is well known. Bitcoin is only truly yours when its keys are. So we lay the path so that every payment, from the moment it arrives, already belongs to your vault, and we put the keys in your hand.
The server only watches
Your BTCPay server holds a view-only key. It can create addresses and watch payments arrive. It cannot spend a single satoshi. A hacked server finds nothing to steal.
Nothing sleeps online
There is no hot wallet to raid and no transfer to intercept: every payment lands, from its first second, on addresses only your offline keys control.
The vault in your hand
A hardware wallet holds the keys; the seed words go onto steel, kept where you choose. We rehearse the recovery with you until it is boring, and when the sums grow, we set up multisig.
Self-custody is real ownership, and real responsibility: no one can freeze it, and no one can restore a lost seed. That is why we drill the backup with you. And bitcoin’s price moves; if you would rather not hold it, you can sell as it arrives. Your call, never ours.
You do not walk it alone.
Merchant accounts and servers are paperwork and plumbing. Both are our craft. This is how it goes:
The papers
The card account needs your identity, a business entity (many operators use an LLC or its local equivalent; we point you to the right people for that), a bank account, and the compliance pages on your site. We write the compliance pages. We fill in the application together.
The server
For Bitcoin we stand up BTCPay on a VPS registered to you. The wallet is yours, the keys are yours. We maintain the machine; your money we can never touch.
The rehearsal
Before launch we push real money in small amounts through every door: card, Bitcoin, transfer. Only when every line lands correctly in the ledger does the house open.
The keeping
After that we watch the rails with you: outages, chargebacks, anomalies. If one door fails the others carry, and the hand rail stays underneath forever as the floor.
Books your accountant will love.
The least glamorous promise on this page, and perhaps the most valuable: every cent that ever moved sits in a ledger that only grows and never forgets. No year-end scramble across five platform exports. One business, one book.
And said plainly: we do not give tax advice; your accountant does. We make sure they have everything they need, in one reach.
Your money never sleeps in someone else's account.
It enters through your door, sits in your book, and rests in your accounts. Everything further we discuss between us.
